RYA Competent Crew Course Content
Experience living on a yacht and visit different ports each night. Learn the fundamentals of handling a boat under sail and under engine. Learn to handle sails, tie knots, and become a useful member of crew.
We run the RYA Competent Crew course as a 7 day extended course, mid week 5-day course or over a 2-day weekend and a 3-day weekend from our base in Hamble. Enjoy sailing the sheltered waters of the Solent during your course. Our Extended 7 day course allows additional time to complete your course and visit ports and harbours further afield than you might do during a 5 day course.
