RYA YachtMaster Preparation and Exam

An RYA YachtMaster qualification is required if you wish to work professionally as a yachtsman. For those not looking for a career in yachting, achieving the YachtMaster qualification demonstrates they are a safe, responsible and competent skipper. The RYA YachtMaster qualification is a certificate of competency recognised around the world and is accepted by every charter company as evidence of competency to charter a boat.

Course Content

This is an intensive week for experienced skippers who wish to gain this professional qualification. The course will help you refine and practise your skills under instruction of an experienced RYA YachtMaster Instructor.

Included on the course

RYA accredited instructor, accommodation on board, gas, diesel, breakfast and lunch each day, 1 evening meal, use of the boat for your exam.

To enable you to fully enjoy the course, you will require wet weather gear; a sleeping bag and pillow will also be required. Refer to our comprehensive kit list.

Meals ashore and mooring fees, which are split between the students, are not included.
