The RORC Channel race is a 24-35 hour race that is set depending on the wind and tide. It starts and finishes in the Solent so is a popular weekend race.

We are once again taking part in one of the most famous offshore yacht races the RORC Fastnet 2017, racing from Cowes to the Fastnet lighthouse and finishing in Plymouth.
This is a prestigious event and an experience of a lifetime. Take part on one of our fully race prepared Sigma 38’s and race in a true one design class.
Equinox Sailing have put together a comprehensive package which includes 4 qualifying offshore races and 2 training weekends.
The crew must compete in a minimum of 300 nm offshore racing prior to the Fastnet Race. We will be competing in 4 RORC races prior to the Fastnet race allowing everyone to gain the required mileage.
