RORC Channel Race
The RORC Channel Race is a 24-36 hour race that is set depending on the wind and tide. It starts and finishes in the Solent so it is a popular weekend race.
The RORC Channel Race is often an extended round the Island race racing to Poole with additional legs depending on the wind strength. Although in site of land for the whole race, the complex tides of the Solent and the South Coast and multiple opportunities for windward leeward legs this is a challenging race for both crew and navigator.
