Inshore racing consist of a series of short races generally finished in a day. A great way to spend a weekend on the water.
We will be competing in the following race series:
Cowes Week is one of the longest-running regular regattas in the world. With 40 daily races, up to 1,000 boats, and 8,500 competitors ranging from Olympic and world-class professionals to weekend sailors, it is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world. The regatta started in 1826 and is held annually in August on the Solent.
Hamble Winter Series
8 weekends of racing, just remember to pack your thermals. The Hamble Winter Series take place between October and December.
Warsash Spring Series
6 weekends of racing, and a great way to blow away the winter blues. The Warsash Spring Series take place between March and April.
Round the Island Race
The 2015 Round the Island Race, organised by the Island Sailing Club, is a one-day yacht race around the Isle of Wight.
The race regularly attracts over 1,700 boats and around 16,000 sailors, making it one of the largest yacht races in the world.
Les Voilis de Saint Tropez
Les Voiles de Saint Tropez Regatta is the closing event of the summer season. With over 300 yachts and 3500 crew descending on St Tropez for a week of racing and festivities, the entire port of St Tropez is filled with yachts, ranging from modern to classic.
The original Caribbean Regatta has 6 days racing around-the-cans and a lay-day in-between. Antigua Sailing Week started in 1968 when a group of friends got together to hold a regatta.
