Boat Handling under sail
A course for anyone wishing to improve their sailing skills. This course is also suitable to anyone who is thinking about racing but has never raced before.
Hoisting and dropping sails
Sail trim (to cruise quickly)

Sailing on to a mooring buoy
Sailing onto anchor
MOB under sail
Join the boat on Friday evening meet your instructor and crew and finishing on Sunday evening.
After your course
You will have more confidence in sail trim and being able to control a boat undersail in confined areas.

Max. instructor ratio 5:1
Meals ashore and mooring fees, which are split between the students, are not included.
Included on course
RYA accredited instructor, accommodation on board, gas, diesel, breakfast and lunch each day.
To enable you to fully enjoy the course, you will require wet weather gear; a sleeping bag and pillow will also be required. Refer to our comprehensive kit list.
